Since 1954, Bristow Medical Center has been a very important member of the Bristow community, and we are proud to continue providing medical and surgical services to our patients. With our Family Medicine, Urgent Care, and Surgery clinics right next door, we are a convenient medical home for patients.

Mark Brandenburg, M.D. received his Medical Degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. Dr. Brandenburg completed internships in both Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, and his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He has practiced medicine in Oklahoma for 25 years, and directs the medical care provided by the emergency departments, hospitalist services, and the primary care/urgent care clinic at both hospitals, Bristow & CORE. Dr. Brandenburg and his wife and children have lived in the Tulsa area for 20 years.

While at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Dr. Brandenburg was Founding Director of the Oklahoma Institute for Disaster and Emergency Medicine, and the Founding Residency Program Director for Oklahoma’s only allopathic emergency medicine residency program. Dr. Brandenburg has authored over 25 peer-reviewed medical publications, three textbook chapters, and two infant and child injury prevention books. He also has several teaching and research awards, to include the OU College of Medicine Faculty Crimson Apple Award for Teaching Excellence, and C.T. Thompson, M.D. Award for Excellence in Trauma Care.
